The Niels Lan Doky International Jazz Collective (NLD IJC) will once again take up residence at the Louisiana Museum of Modern Art in 2023 to produce three unique and exclusive concert projects led by some of the greatest jazz artists from our time.

OCT 06 - A JAZZ CELEBRATION OF THE ICONIC POP STAR
Featuring Prince's drummer David "Fingers" Haynes and bassist François Moutin. They'll do a JAZZ/TAKE on iconic Prince songs, curated by Mayte Garcia, his former spouse, who’ll do an opening speech. Garcia, a dancer, singer, and author, toured with Prince's New Power Generation and was the inspiration behind "The Most Beautiful Girl In The World." Prince would have turned 65 this year which prompted the Niels Lan Doky International Jazz Collective to initiate this jazz celebration of the iconic pop star.
DEC 01 - LET’S HONOR ONE OF THE GREATS
Join us also on the late great Jaco Pastorius' birthday December 1st, for a spectacular celebration co-led and headlined by his son Felix Pastorius, who has earned the distinction of a world-class musician and bass virtuoso in his own right, and master drummer Lenny White. Mr. White was a part of of Chick Corea's groundbreaking group Return To Forever and the drummer on a majority of the genre-defining albums of the entire jazz/fusion movement, including not least Jaco Pastorius' acclaimed self-titled debut album and Miles Davis’ Bitches Brew. Niels Lan Doky (piano) and Gabor Bolla (saxophones) will join the two on stage at Louisiana.

Embark on a musical odyssey as we proudly present jazz/fusion bass legend Stanley Clarke and his remarkable band N•4EVER. After many years of absence, Stanley Clarke returns to Denmark, gracing the stage on November 3rd. Stanley Clarke, a true icon in the jazz and fusion realm, has been shaping the music landscape for over five decades.
