The American saxophone icon returns to Denmark for the first time in 5 years, this time with his own band from New York.

About:
DAVID SANBORN is arguably one of most acclaimed and influential alto saxophonists of his time, and certainly the most commercially successful. He has won six Grammy Awards and has had eight gold albums and one platinum album. Aside from an extensive discography of his own, he has also guest appeared on albums by a long list of top artists in multiple genres, ranging from jazz, pop, R&B and beyond, such as Chaka Khan, George Benson, David Bowie, The Brecker Brothers, Gil Evans, The Eagles, Bob James, James Taylor, Stevie Wonder, James Brown, Ron Carter, Paul Simon, Jaco Pastorius, Elton John, Burt Bacharach, Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton and numerous others. And he has performed and composed the soundtracks for blockbuster movies such as Lethal Weapon and Tequila Sunrise. It is a huge privilege to welcome him back to Denmark for the first time in years.
